The two films in the link below were found by Richard Tobin, son of John Tobin, who was a good friend to Michael O’Connell. He ran the art department at Ware College and employed O’Connell to teach there.

The colour film was made by Anna Gifford, whose mother was a friend of O’Connell’s.

The black and white film was made by John Tobin after O’Connell died.

Thanks are due to Deri Morgan, Anna Gifford’s daughter, for permission to show her film, and to Richard Tobin for his father’s film. And to Richard again for digitising the films.
